In 1972, Tony Conyers began selling chevron beads and colored stones out of a small apartment in Scottsdale, Arizona. He had been inspired by the magazine "Arizona Highways" and fought back against the recommendations of friends and family to exit the bead business and find a "real" job. He registered the name "ARC Traders" later that year and hired his first employee.

Just two years into his career, a customer asked if Tony would sell him just the parts and let him make the necklaces and earrings himself. The suggestion sparked a business model shift, and ARC Traders moved away from finished jewelry and into high-volume component production - a novel concept at the time.

Over the next 40 years, ARC Traders would become one of the most trusted family-owned and operated manufacturers of gold-filled, sterling silver, and copper beads and findings in the world. We strive to meet the needs of each of our customers through a relentless pursuit of quality, efficiency, and affordability.
